RIVER FOREST, ILL. — Concordia University Chicago (CUC) Athletics and Director of Athletics, Janet Wolbert, are happy to announce the hiring of Jordan Lynn as Assistant Athletic Trainer. Lynn will be joining the staff as the fourth Athletic Trainer for the Cougars Athletic Training staff.

"We are excited to welcome back Jordan to our Athletic Training staff," Director of Athletics, Janet Wolbert, had to comment. "Jordan developed great relationships with our student-athletes in the past, so I know the student-athletes are also glad to have him return to CUC. I'm pleased to see how well our Sports Medicine staff is rounding out and Jordan will be a great addition to that team within our Athletic program."

Lynn comes from Trinity International University, where he served as an Assistant Athletic Trainer. With the Trojans, he worked with a variety of sports, including men's soccer, women's basketball, baseball, football, and volleyball. Lynn evaluated extremity injuries, concussion management, and rehabilitation programs.

Prior to his time at Trinity International, Lynn was contracted to Concordia University Chicago through Athletico as an Athletic Trainer. He is familiar with a variety of Cougar sports, such as men's and women's basketball, football, men's and women's tennis, and men's volleyball. He also was in charge of inventory procedures and ATS EMR system documentation.

"We are excited to have Jordan join the Sports Medicine program as another great asset to the team," Sam Galicia, CUC Head Athletic Trainer, had to say on Lynn's hiring. "Jordan returning to CUC after his previous contract seems full circle and will be great for athletes to see a familiar face. Jordan's approach to relationship building and rehabilitation intervention will be great for us as a staff to provide the best care for the student-athletes."

In his master's degree program, Lynn was the Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at Lincoln College. With Lincoln College, he got experience in a plethora of sports; Basketball, softball, swimming and diving, soccer, track and field, cross country, cheerleading, bowling, and wrestling. He also got experience in manual therapy, including IASTM, therapeutic cupping, and therapeutic modalities for injury treatment.

As a student. Lynn had internships at the Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital as a PRN Athletic Trainer and the Chicago Bears Football Club as a Student Medical Intern. In these pre-graduation jobs, Lynn got the opportunity to provide first aid and emergency coverage on both youth and professional athletes.

Lynn graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training in 2019 and a Master's of Science in Athletic Training in 2021. He will begin immediately with Cougar Athletics and join the CUC Athletic Training Staff.
