Richmond, IN- Concordia-Chicago (4-3; 2-1 MLC) took the road to face off against Earlham College (1-6; 1-2). Along with impeccable defense, CUC came out firing and scored the first nine goals en route to a 12-1 victory.

Concordia-Chicago found balance to be the main formula. They paced themselves each quarter to the tune of three, two, four and three goals in the separate frames. In the first frame,
Boston Dumas kicked off the scoring with a goal assisted by Combe.
The Cougars would put the pedal to the metal for the final 1:17 and score two goals. Krueger would score the first one and then assist on the next one to Combe.
Combe scored a second consecutive goal early in the second period of play to make the lead 4-0 and bury Earlham into a hole. CUC built on that, and finally broke free in the third quarter of play.
In the third period, Combe once again opened up the scoring. Following his goal, Krueger netted three consecutive goals of his own. After the onslaught of scores, Concordia-Chicago led 9-1 moving into the final quarter.
CUC would wrap up Earlham handedly, cruising to a 12-1 victory in credit to their stellar defense and efficiency offensively.
Concordia-Chicago will look to continue their hot streak when they travel to play against the University of Dubuque on Wednesday, March 27th at 12:00 p.m.
