RIVER FOREST, Ill. -- With a midweek loss to Benedictine on Tuesday, the Concordia-Chicago men's basketball team will look to bounce back and snatch a victory on the road at NACC's first placed Milwaukee School of Engineering.
Tip off is set to begin approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the women's 2 p.m. game. Complete coverage is available atÂ

Last Time Out... Heading into Tuesday's game against Benu, the Cougars were coming off a huge weekend victory against Illinois Tech. Freshman superstar Landen Gladney had a career-best night, tabbing 18 points and 18 rebounds, including the game-winning basket with 11 seconds to go in regulation. Against the Eagles on Saturday, Gladney reached a career-high 27 points, but the Cougars' defense struggled to shut down Benedictine and ultimately fell 92-77.
Tale of the Tape... In their last 10 match ups, CUC is 1-9 against the Raiders with the team's last win coming on Jan. 4, 2014 when the Cougars defeated MSOE 79-74 at the Kern Center. While the Raiders boast a 14-2 overall record this year and stand in first place among the conference, CUC has struggled on the road and is 0-7 this year when being the visiting team. A win against MSOE on Saturday would be crucial for the Cougars among the NACC standings and would also be CUC's first true road win in almost two years.
Scouting the Raiders... MSOE's only loss at home this season came at the hands of Wisconsin Lutheran College back in December. The Raiders will take on Concordia-Chicago coming off an overtime loss to Illinois Tech earlier this week. Three-time NACC Athlete of the Week, Matthew Kirmse is the biggest threat to CUC's defense, as the junior guard is averaging 18.7 points per game and is shooting 48.5 percent from beyond the arc. With a deep and balanced lineup, MSOE has eight players averaging at least 5.8 points per game on the year.Â
A Meeks Matter... As the team's third leading scorer, sophomore Jalen Meeks is a key part of the Cougars' lineup. Averaging 16.5 points per game, Meeks leads CUC in total steals with 29 as well as ranking second in the conference for averaging 2.2 steals per game. He is also second on the team in assists (22) and blocks (9).
Gentle Giant... Through 15 collegiate basketball games, Chicago native and freshman Landen Gladney has made his presence known across the country. With the hot start to his college career, he has recorded double-digit rebounds in 14 games and has 13 double-doubles on the season. Gladney is ranked first in the nation for total double-doubles and fifth for rebounds per game (13.1). He is also eighth in the country with 197 total boards.
Pelissier's Point... Former NACC Athlete of the Week and senior guard Mitch Pelissier has left his mark on the CUC basketball program, as he moved into fourth place on the Concordia-Chicago all-time scoring list last week with 1,612 career points. Averaging 22.2 points per game, he is currently first in the NACC and ranks 26th nationally among Division III basketball.
