Milwaukee, Wis. – The Concordia University Chicago Women's Basketball team closed out an eight games in 20 day stretch tonight at defending NACC champion Wisconsin Lutheran College. The Cougars fought tough throughout, but ultimately fell by a final score of

- Michaela Thornton had 11 points, her second highest output of the season.
- For the second time on the season Annika Rae knocked down two threes.
- Deja Southall led the team in rebounding for the fourth time this season.
In the first quarter, WLC opened the scoring with the first of 13 three pointers on the night. Thornton and Corr answered by knocking down free throws. The Warriors went on a run from there, which was stopped by a Rae three from the left wing. Wisconsin Lutheran led 16-5 after the first.
McKayla Tilton started the second quarter with a three to pull the Cougars back within ten. Baskets by
Jada Dixon and
Ashley Measel got the offense going midway through the quarter. Late in the quarter, Rae knocked down another transition three to pull CUC back within 29-18. Unfortunately, Wisconsin Lutheran was able to close the half on a run, to take a 39-22 lead into the break.
Thornton opened the scoring for CUC in the third quarter with a jump shot and two free throws. The CUC offense went cold following the Thornton spurt, with
Sam Bloom ending the scoring drought with two free throws with 2:11 remaining in the quarter. Bloom then knocked down a three a minute later. WLC led 56-31 after three.
WLC continued to build on their lead early in the fourth quarter. Both teams struggled to score through the mid-part of the quarter. Tilton knocked down a jumper with under a minute left but the Warriors were able to down CUC 74-38.
The Cougars will now have over a week to ready for their next NACC opponent. They will head to Lisle, Illinois to take on Benedictine on December 15 to take on the Eagles. Opening tip is set for 2:00pm.
