River Forest, Ill.- The Cougars take on a much improved Lakeland team this afternoon who are currently sitting sixth in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference with a 5-4 record and an 8-5 overall record.  CUC is hoping to rebound after a chippy and hard fought 89-82 loss to River Forest rival Dominican this past Wednesday.  The Muskies are looking to inch closer to the top four and keep their momentum going after they stunned Benedictine at home 81-71 giving the Eagles their second NACC loss in three seasons.  

Mitch Pelissier leads the charge for the Cougars coming in scoring over 22 points per game, which ranks him second in the NACC in scoring.  Another player to watch for is Henry Woo Jr. who is coming off his best game in a couple weeks at Dominican scoring 10 points and providing four assists.  

The Cougars next game will be Jan. 9 when they travel to Milwaukee, Wis. to take on MSOE.  Tip off is set for 7:00pm.
