River Forest, Ill.- The Cougars continue their homestand this evening against the fourth place Sabres. Marian has surprised people so far this season in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference as they were predicted seventh in the preseason polls, but have found themselves sitting in a spot where they would host a NACC playoff game.
Last time out, the Sabres were able to get the best of the Cougars at their place winning by the final score of 90-80. Marian came out of the gates clicking on all cylinders to really set the tone of the game.
Mitch Pelissier had a game high 29 points to go along with four rebounds to lead the Cougars. Concordia-Chicago hopes to get their offense back to what it was at the beginning of the season tonight in hopes of getting their first win in the NACC.
