Bill Stevenson, ’76, lettered in wrestling for four years. He compiled a career record of 85-29-0 for a sparkling winning percentage of .746. Stevenson’s 41 career pins remain second on Concordia’s all-time list as do his 13 pins in a season (set twice). He served as the team’s tri-captain during his senior year.

            
Stevenson graduated Concordia with a B.A. in education. He coached wrestling for five years at Marist High School, and his 1983 team won the Illinois AA state wrestling championship. He has also coached youth soccer, softball and basketball for the Palatine and Inverness Park Districts. Since 1986, Stevenson has held the positions of First Vice President of Investments and Financial Consultant at Merrill Lynch in Oak Brook, Illinois. He has served as both a Director of Pals Ministry for Awana and a deacon for Harvest Bible Chapel in Rolling Meadows, Illinois.
