Michael Dingman (Glendale, Ariz.) of the football team is honored for the week of Oct. 17-23.
           
Dingman led a strong defensive effort in the Cougars’ 21-7 victory over Lakeland College Oct. 22. The defensive end made six tackles (four solo) with three of them accounting for a combined minus-nine yards. Dingman recorded a quarterback sack and was also credited with two quarterback hurries.
           
Dingman, the son of Stephanie Wiley, is a 2008 graduate of Barry Goldwater High School in Phoenix, Ariz. He is a senior with a double major of psychology and sports management.
