Will Suhrbur (Berwyn, IL) of the men’s indoor track and field team is honored for Feb. 27-March 5.

Suhrbur pole-vaulted 14’ 1 ¾” at the Thomas Gill Last Chance Meet at Carthage College on March 3. His effort surpassed the old CUC indoor record of 13’ 9 ¾” held by Robert Fraga (2010). Suhrbur’s previous best had been 14’ 0” in 2015, and the Carthage meet represented the final opportunity of his indoor career.

???????Suhrbur, the son of Edward and Anastasia Suhrbur, is a 2012 graduate of Morton West High School in Berwyn, IL. He is a senior psychology major.
