Mitch Pelissier (Puyallup, WA) of the men’s basketball team is honored for Jan. 23-29. He was named to the men's all-tournament team at the Concordia Invitational Tournament in Seward, NE this past weekend.
Pelissier shot 6-29 from the field and averaged 20 points in the Cougars’ two CIT games versus the Concordias of Nebraska and Wisconsin. The 6’3” forward/guard also scored 21 points in a conference game versus Aurora University on Jan. 25. For the season, Pelissier is fourth in the conference with 354 points, good for a 17.7 average.
Pelissier, the son of Steve and Jennifer Pelissier, is a 2015 graduate of Mount Rainier Lutheran High School in Tacoma, WA. He is a sophomore sports management major.
