Taylor Jacobsen (Aurora IL) of the women’s basketball team is honored for Jan. 8-14.

Jacobsen continued on a roll as the Cougars added two more wins to their current six-game NACC winning streak. The 5’4” guard scored a team-high 20 points in leading CUC past Benedictine University on Jan. 11. Jacobsen then struck for a career-high 33 points in a double-overtime win at the Milwaukee School of Engineering on Jan. 14. She made six threes in that game including one with the game tied 75-75 that gave CUC the lead for good.

???????Jacobsen, the daughter of Terry and Jennifer Jacobsen, is a 2014 graduate of West Aurora High School in Aurora, IL. She is a junior exercise science major
