Adam Schmitt (Peoria, IL) of the baseball team is honored for the week of March 14-20.

Schmitt pitched a solid seven innings against Concordia Texas on March 20. He held the team that scored 19 runs off CUC pitching in the previous two games to two runs on seven hits in seven innings (101 pitches). Schmitt struck out five batters and did not issue a walk.

Schmitt, the son of Mike and Amy Schmitt, is a 2014 graduate of Limestone High School in Bartonville, IL. He is a sophomore sports management major.
