Jeff Weberg (Rockford, Ill.) of the men’s basketball team is honored for the week of Nov. 22-28.

 

Weberg helped the Cougar men to a 68-67 overtime win against Lakeland College on Nov. 23. He scored 16 second-half points including perfect 7-7 shooting and added five points in the overtime after the Cougars had fallen behind 64-59. Weberg finished with a team-high 23 points on 10-13 shooting and added five rebounds to lift Concordia in its Northern Athletics Conference opener. The 6’1” guard is leading the team in scoring through five games with a 15.0 average.

 

Weberg, the son of Lon and Jill Weberg, is a 2006 graduate of Rockford Lutheran High School. He is a senior accounting major.
