Brandon Stinson (Schiller Park, IL) of the men’s basketball team is honored for the week of Dec. 2-8.
Stinson contributed in a myriad of ways to the Cougar men’s team during a busy three-game week. He matched his career-high scoring mark of 19 points in the Dec. 3 game against Silver Lake College and set a new career mark of eight assists in the Dec. 7 game against Edgewood College. In the three games which included a Dec. 5 game at Benedictine University, Stinson averaged 14.3 points, 6.3 rebounds and 5.3 assists per game.
Stinson, the son of Steve and Terry Stinson, is a 2011 graduate of East Leyden High School in Franklin Park, Illinois. He is a junior sports management major.
