Dylan Pavlisin (Villa Park, CA) of the men’s soccer team is honored for the week of Sept. 2-8.

A center back and third-year starter for the men’s soccer team, Pavlisin’s leadership and organizational skills in the defense were cited by head coach Micah Middendorf as keys in the team’s 3-1 start. Those skills were on display most specifically in the Cougars’ 3-0 win over Ripon College on Sept. 8. Pavlisin disrupted a couple of two-on-one opportunities as part of the Cougars’ first shutout since Oct. 10 of last season.

Pavlisin, the son of John and Vicki Pavlisin, is a 2011 graduate of Orange Lutheran High School in Orange, California. He is a junior communications major.
