Antwon James (Forest Park, IL) of the men’s indoor track and field team is honored for the week of Dec. 3-9.

James recorded two top performances among a group of mostly Division I athletes while competing in his first collegiate track meet. His time of 7.06 seconds in the 60-meter dash was good for second place and put him within two-hundredths of a second of the school record for the event. James also recorded a time of 23.05 seconds in the 200-meter dash which was good for third place. His 200 time was the third fastest in Concordia’s history.

James, the son of Tommy James and Katherine Harris, is a 2012 graduate of Glenbard East High School in Lombard, Ill. He is a freshman marketing major.
