Kassy Koehler (Belvidere, IL) of the women’s basketball team is honored for the week of Dec. 3-9.
 
Koehler scored 10 points and pulled down 10 rebounds in helping the Cougar women defeat Rockford College 59-51 on Dec. 4. The 5’10” forward added two assists and three steals in her 33 minutes of action. Koehler shot 2-3 from three-point range, and she currently leads the team in that category with 42 percent accuracy (7-17).

Koehler, the daughter of Joel and Jane Koehler, is a 2011 graduate of Rockford Lutheran High School in Rockford, Ill. She is a sophomore with an undeclared major.
