DeAndre McLaurin (Joliet, IL) of the men’s soccer team is honored for the week of Sept. 17-23.
           
McLaurin scored his first goal of 2012 for the Cougar men’s soccer team in a 1-1 draw with Marian Sept. 22. His tally came in the 28^th minute and helped the team snap a seven-match skid. McLaurin recently moved up to forward after playing the first five matches this season as a defender.

McLaurin, the son of Carlotta McLaurin, is a 2011 graduate of Joliet West High School in Joliet, Ill. He is a sophomore exercise science major.
