Ben Curtz joined the CUC Women's Soccer coaching staff in the fall of 2023.
Since joining the CUC coaching staff, Curtz has taken on a plethora of responsibilities including running practices, reviewing game film, matchday prep, team bonding, recruiting, and more. He has been an instrumental part of the increased success of the program, demonstrated by the team wins more than doubling from his first season to his second season. Curtz helped guide the team to the NACC Tournament in 2025, the program's first appearance since 2018.
Prior to joining the staff, Curtz served as the technical director at Vachiralai United where he formulated and executed practice sessions and fitness programs and aided in the carrying out of gameday operations and game scheduling. He recruited new players through ID camps and in-house trials, leading various teams to three national titles in the year. Prior to that, Curtz coached at Alliance Academy International in Quito, Ecuador where he led the team to a first place finish in the school tournament. He has worked in various areas of coaching including private coaching, assistant coaching, and head coaching at various levels across multiple different clubs and organizations.
Curtz currently holds a USSF Grassroots License and a FAW UEFA C License.
Curtz graduated from Messiah College in 2021 with a degree in biochemistry where he played soccer and was a key member of the team that made it to the Elite Eight in 2018.
